Kerry Denies French Connection, Picks Toes In Poughkeepsie
Ethnically diverse presidential hopeful Senator John Kerry today dismissed the comments of an anonymous White House staffer who said that the senator "looked French". As reported by the Boston Herald, the Senator and his wife responded to the barb by saying, essentially:

In other news, French President Jacque Chirac was seen out and about with a new toupee covering his normally-bald pate. Other unnamed White House sources suggested that Chirac not worry about his head so much and save his energies for covering his ass, which may be handed to him real soon now.
